ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AS AN IMPORTANT COMPONENT IN ENHANCING EDUCATION QUALITY

For the first time at normative level, concept of "academic integrity" was enshrined in Law Ukraine "On Education," which adopted 2017. Article 42 defines academic integrity as a set ethical principles and rules that must be followed by participants educational process to ensure trust results training and/or scientific achievements. The education quality assurance system has three structural components: institutions, external education, activities management bodies institutions provide education. who are subject pedagogical, scientificpedagogical, workers, well students education.
 objective this study is assess level knowledge second (Master's) higher "Medicine" program Poltava State Medical University regarding violations depending on course study.
 Materials methods: involved 117 OPP University. Among them, 73 people studied third year 44 medical faculties university. tested students' ability recognize various integrity, such plagiarism, falsification, fabrication, writing off, deception using specific examples. Respondents were offered an anonymous questionnaire containing 10 situations issues where they had identify if present. also included questions about respondents' demographics, age, gender, Conclusion: majority surveyed secondand third-year (72.72% 79.45%, respectively) demonstrated sufficient or rather integrity.
